Dear Parents, Teachers and Administration.
Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year. I thank God for you all. Your dedication to Godliness, righteousness and stewardship is outstanding. As a result, our Heavenly Father blessed Macomb Christian Schools with great favor last year. All of the fundraising efforts exceeded their goals. In addition, new families and donors have enrolled.
However, the good fight is not over. Our mission as Parent Teacher Congress (PTC) members is to enhance the Christ-centered education at Macomb Christian Schools. As the new school year begins, we need to continue pressing toward the mark to improve ourselves and build upon our success last year. Because God provides and hears the cries of the righteous, we can think and dream bigger.
I am asking you to dream big and think of how we can accomplish at least two of the following goals this year:
1) Reduce teacher out of pocket expenses by 50%.
2) Raise enough money to provide 5 full Macomb Christian Schools scholarships for the next school year.
3) Eliminate school debt completely.
4) New play structure for the Early Education Center.
Think and dream big by writing and submitting your ideas to help us reach these goals. Your idea may be our answer from God.
Bring your ideas to the Parent Teacher Congress meeting in September. Remember attending a PTC meeting counts toward your family service hours.
