Dear MCS Families,
We are beginning our second year of using the SMART Tuition Service. We believe this change has been beneficial. As with any change, there are questions that arise. We want to communicate some beneficial information to you in a Question and Answer format. If you have further questions, feel free to contact Mrs. Shumaker in the Business Office. She can be reached at (586) 751-8980 or at
mshumaker@macombchristianschools.org . We continue to work out some logistics in the SMART Tuition Service system and thank you for your patience as we are going though this transitional time.
Special Alert!
SMART has charged each family a $43 administrative fee in error. If you included this fee with your July payment, your statement for your August payment will automatically be $43 less. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Special Alert 2!
If you reenrolled or enrolled prior to June 10th , are signed up for SMART TUITION but have not received a statement or email, please contact Mrs. Shumaker in the Business office immediately.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I have to enroll in the SMART Tuition Service?
A: Yes, everyone must enroll, even if your child’s tuition is prepaid for the year, as there will be additional miscellaneous charges added to your account, per usual, throughout the year. Your SMART Tuition Enrollment Form should be turned back in to the Business Office by the first week of June, at the latest. This timing is necessary in order for those of you who pay by invoice to have enough time to get your July statement, which is mailed out mid-June.
